Printed copies of the full school calendar will be mailed to homes about the third week in August.
August 21 Community Open House from 4:00 to 7:30 pm. Northpoint Elementary's main office will open on August 11 with summer hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The voicemail message line is 763-754-9700.

Registration for all fall Spring Lake Park High School sports begins July 28. Stop by the Spring Lake Park High School Athletic/Activities Office Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 8 am and 4 pm.
Fall Parent/Athlete Registration & Orientation Meeting
On Monday, August 4th there will be an Orientation/Registration meeting in the new Competition Gym at SLP High School for all athletes in grades 9-12 (along with middle school athletes who are competing with their 7-12 HS sport) and their parents. The meeting starts at 6:30pm with individual team meetings at 7:10pm. Fall registration packets will be available on July 28th.
All fall sports teams begin practicing
Monday, August 11 is the first day of practice for all grades 9-12 sports.
Kids’ Club provides quality childcare before- and after-school for children attending District 16 schools in grades K-8 and all-day licensed daycare for children who are four-years old by September 1 of the current year. The program promotes learning and growth in all areas of development through interesting and fun activities. Kids’ Club begins with the first day of school each September and ends with the last day of school each June. Full-day care during non-school days (School Release Days) is also available and Summer care is available, as well.

Semester 1 - Fall session: September 8, 2008- January 16, 2009
Registration for the Fall 2008 semester will begin on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. You may register in-person at the Early Childhood office at Woodcrest in Fridley or on-line at http://www.springlakeparkscomservices.com Most ECFE classes are offered at the Early Childhood Center at Woodcrest Elementary. Several shorter series of evening ECFE classes will be held at Northpoint Elementary in Blaine. See our new 2008-09 brochure for full details.
Learn and Play Preschool (Woodcrest and Northpoint Elementary) Preschool Partners (Woodcrest) Morning Classes 9:00-11:30 a.m. Afternoon Classes 12:45-3:15 p.m. Orientation week is September 2-5. Classes begin week of September 8. Families, who have children under age 5, not receiving an Early Childhood brochure by early August should call the Early Childhood office at 763-785-5560 to request a brochure AND also call Tammy Kaiser at 763-785-5508 to be put on the census.
