The team will be staying at in Two Harbors. If parents are interested in rooms they are asked to contact the hotel themselves.
The hotel information is as follows...
– Wreath pick up is scheduled for Sunday November 23, 9:30 at the Spring Lake Park City Hall. Congratulation to the 08-09 team on a great fundraiser. We were able to raise over $1700 for the upcoming season.
- The youth hockey has helped us out by covering our 3 Tuesday shifts in December at Time Out. In return they are looking for 11 people to help cover shifts for the PeeWee tournament November 14-16. If you are able to help please contact Pat Corrigan at patrickcorrigan0858@msn.com
– we will again be selling ads for our hockey program. Ads are now due!! Our goal is for each player to sell $100 worth.
– The boys will be bagging groceries on November 25th from 5-9 at the Northtown Cub. More details coming out soon.
– As a parent group we are asked to help work the concession stand at the high school for 10-12 events throughout the year. Each shift that we work we need 3-4 volunteers. At the end of the year the concession sales are split amongst all of the teams that work. Watch for more dates coming out soon.
– In return for the generous donations each season from the youth hockey board we are asked to help supply workers for Bingo at Time Out on Tuesday nights. Currently we are in need of workers for the first 2 Tuesdays in December. We are in need of 3 helpers per night. Contact Fred Benson at 780-4172 if you are available to help cover our shifts. – We currently have 1 carbo load left to fill for the JV and Varsity teams. The date is as follows… 1/24. The Fogerty Arena Conference room has been reserved for all of the carbo loads or you can host one in your home or an alternative location. If you are interested in hosting or helping with one of these carbo loads please contact Kandi Gerding at kgerdi@District16.org
Athletic packets and rule sheets are now available in the HS athletic office. The packets, rules sheet, fees, and a physical are all due in order to get your blue card. Blue cards must be turned into Coach Benson in order to get your equipment and to be able to practice.
Because of some scheduling problems parents night has been changed. Parents night will be held on Tuesday December 23. Pictures with your player will be taken between the JV and Varsity game. A potluck will follow the varsity game in the Fogerty Conference room.
