Description of sport/activity: Competitive hockey consisting of a varsity and a JV team.

Length of season: Practice begins early November. Season ends the first week of March
Practice and/or meeting times: Practices are after school Monday through Friday, from 3:00 to 5:30
Practice and/or meeting location: Fogerty Arena or Schwans Super Rink
Competition/Performances: Usually two games per week: Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday.
Eligibility requirements: Must meet MSHSL, SLP school district, and team eligibility requirements.
Average number of members: 36
Costs and/or needed equipment: Activities fee, skates, mouth guard, and sticks. Players supply all protective equipment, except for gloves, helmet and mask and breezers.
Awards criteria & type of awards: Lettering requirements determined by head coach. A copy of the requirements is available in the Activities Office.
Student leadership: Captains are chosen by the team.
