Panther Planet - Grades 4-8 School Year 2010-11 Information
Care for children in grades 4-8 is at the Westwood Complex. This program is called Panther Planet and provides the same excellent before- or after-school care with a little older twist. Our activities will encourage students to learn new skills and to pursue new interests while hanging-out with friends in a safe, supervised environment.
Students at the Westwood Complex have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities and still receive supervised care afterwards. They also have the opportunity to take the Westwood Activity Bus home on certain days. All care is on-site at Westwood Complex except on School Release Days when Panther Planet-eers will join the other Kids Club children at the Woodcrest or Northpoint Elementary sites.
Panther Planet is open from 6:30 AM until the start of school and from the end of school until 6:00 PM.

Discovery Days - For 4-year-olds – School Year 2010-11 Information
Discovery Days is our all-day childcare program especially planned for children who are four-years-old by September 1 of the current school year. Our highly qualified staff works in concert with our Preschool teachers to enrich and reinforce skills being taught in the Learn & Play Preschool program.
Discovery Days is part of the Kids Club program and follows the school-year calendar. We’re open for most days school is closed – just like Kids Club. On School Release Days, Discovery Days children will go on any age-appropriate field trips and participate in every special event planned at no extra cost.
Children receive a breakfast, a hot lunch, and an afternoon snack every day. Parents have the option of registering for 3 -5 days a week or for Drop-in Care. Discovery Days children may continue in the SummerClub program before starting Kindergarten in the fall.
Children in Discovery Days may also choose to attend afternoon Learn & Play Preschool classes at a significant savings on Preschool tuition. Fee reduction will be determined by which Preschool class child is dual-enrolled.
In 2010-11 Discovery Days is housed at both Woodcrest Elementary and Northpoint Elementary: both sites are open from 6:30 AM-6:00 PM.

We will travel across the US of A on a virtual road trip to visit many landmarks and popular tourist attractions, encouraging our children to add to our stories about destinations by sharing their own experiences. Additionally we'll challenge our minds and bodies to grow stronger with academic enrichment opportunities, inflatable jumpers, walking trips to the SLP High School Pool for swimming, and bus field trips to fun sites.
