Opportunities in Emergency Care Program

The Opportunities in Emergency Care Program (OEC) is more then just a class: it can be a life-altering experience. The OEC program is based out of Spring Lake Park High School in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. The OEC program is an award-winning program that teaches Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to high school students. Students have the potential to leave our program having their National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certificate (NREMT-B) that enables them to obtain jobs working on ambulances, in Emergency Departments, and various other related professions.

OEC teaches various classes, including First Aid, CPR, First Responder, EMT-B, Sports Medicine, and Nursing Assistant Registered.
