A Letter from the OEC Advisory Committee President

Welcome to the Spring Lake Park OEC Advisory Committee webpage. On behalf of the Advisory Committee I would like to thank you for your support of our program.

The purpose of the Spring Lake Park Opportunities In Emergency Care Advisory Committee is as follows:  to create training, shadowing, mentoring and employment opportunities for students; to create continuing education and employment opportunities for volunteer staff and faculty; to promote the mission and ideals of the OEC Program; to create and sustain a funding stream for supplies, equipment and training; to effectively market the program to secondary students and the community and to assure curriculum taught in the classroom is current and state of the art.

The Committee assists and works closely with the Program Director of the Spring Lake Park Opportunities in Emergency Care Program to help ensure a quality educational experience for both youth and adult students involved in the program.  It is comprised of both members from within the medical profession and members from outside of the medical profession who have a strong commitment toward enhancing and supporting the Spring Lake Park OEC program, the OEC staff and students.

If you have interest in joining the Advisory Committee or would like more information, please feel free to contact us atadvisorycommittee@slpoec.org
